What Are You Really Selling?

If you’re selling diet products, you’re not selling weight loss. You’re really selling  confidence, self-image, sexiness and so on. 
If you’re selling insurance, what you’re really selling is peace of mind.
If you find out what you are really selling, and sell that instead of focusing all of your energy on the product, you will sell more.
That’s because your focus is on the person, not the product.
And that’s what real selling is all about. It’s about having true empathy for the folks who buy your products
